About Us
Ruth Laura Soper has been a muscular therapist for ten years. She graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge MA, is Nationally Certified in Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Massachusetts and Florida, and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, MA.
Along with extensive study and years of experience practicing Muscular Therapy, Sports, and Deep Tssue Massage, Ruth has also studied Orthopedic Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Polarity, Usui Reiki, Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing, Matrix Energetics, and Breath Work
Ruth's deep commitment to health and healing has lead her through an extensive graduate training program in Structural Energetic Therapy® (SET) which incorporates many body therapies and disciplines. SET integrates Cranial/Structural techniques, Myofascial Release and Restructuring, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue massage, Scar Tissue and Adhesion Release, Postural Analysis, Kinesiology Testing (Applied and Functional), Acupressure, Breath Work, and Emotional Energy Release Therapy.
In addition to being a Certified Structural Energetic Therapist, Ruth has completed specialized training in SET techniques to work with children ages 7 - 13 and older.
